THE ORIGINAL
MODULAR VAN INTERIOR SYSTEM
Why Thousands Choose Adventure Wagon
The Most Complete Modular Van Interior Starting at $16,000
Adventure Wagon pioneered the original modular van interior system, setting the standard for DIY-friendly camper van conversions more than a decade ago. Since then, countless competitors have attempted to replicate our platform, but none have matched the fit, finish, and refinement that come from years of continuous development. Starting at $16,000, our Interior System delivers a premium foundation that saves builders hundreds of hours while creating a professional-quality camper van built to last.
Unlike traditional wood-built conversions that require sourcing materials, building templates, and accepting expensive mistakes or piles of wasted scrap, Adventure Wagon provides a complete, engineered solution designed to install correctly the first time. Every component is precision-manufactured to fit your van, dramatically reducing build time, eliminating unnecessary material waste, and giving DIY builders the confidence to achieve a professional-quality result.
Our thermo-molded interior panels are one of the biggest differences you'll notice. Rather than leaving large sections of painted van body exposed, our molded components follow the complex curves of your van, creating clean, factory-quality finishes while covering difficult contours. This means less exposed sheet metal, improved insulation performance, reduced thermal bridging, and a quieter, more comfortable camper van with a refined appearance from front to back.
Built around our proven steel A-Frame and aluminum L-Track foundation, Adventure Wagon offers the most customizable modular van conversion kit on the market. Easily add, remove, or reposition beds, cabinets, storage, seating, and gear to create a layout that evolves with your adventures. Combined with durable thermo-molded components and premium materials engineered for years of use, Adventure Wagon delivers an affordable modular van conversion system that outperforms traditional wood builds in versatility, durability, and overall fit and finish.

Adventure Wagon uses:
- Factory mounting points
- Structural L-track
- Lightweight panel systems
- Modular storage
The Result:
- More usable space
- Better headroom
- Cleaner interior
- No Exposed Screws Hardware
The A-Frame
The A-Frame is the reason you can attach a hammock to the ceiling of an Adventure Wagon without worry. It’s the foundation of your Sprinter or Transit van conversion—a support system of steel bracers throughout the van that every component connects to. Strong, precise, and built to last, the A-Frame is what makes the Adventure Wagon modular interior system truly different from any other van conversion kit.
Electrical System
The included camper van wiring harness comes pre-measured and plug-and-play ready. Leads are dropped down the pillars and run to the ceiling to power outlets and lighting. We use Blue Sea Systems corrosion-resistant USB and 12V outlets, and red/white dimmable LED lights. Once the harness is installed, just connect it to a battery to bring your van interior system to life.
The Panels
Our van interior panels come in a variety of colors and materials. The most common is marine grade plywood and ABS molded plastic (for rounded trim pieces) upholstered with rugged Marathon tweed fabric.
We also offer 100% bamboo panels, which are popular on the ceiling, and black hexa-ply plastic coated plywood for a modern, durable finish. Each panel is precision-cut to fit the Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit platforms perfectly—no trimming or guesswork required.
L-Track
The Logistical Track (L-Track) is bolted to the A-Frame and is what makes the Adventure Wagon system truly modular. You can attach almost anything to this track, starting with our MOAB bed rails and Mule Bag overhead storage, or any compatible campervan accessories.
L-Track can be ordered in bare aluminum or sleek black anodized finish and gives you endless flexibility to mount gear, campervan beds, or cabinetry without drilling new holes.
Climate Control
Pre-cut & labeled 3M Thinsulate insulation is included with the Interior System to regulate temperature, along with Reflectix low-E insulation on the back of every panel. Against the van’s metal, Hushmat sound dampening is applied for a quieter, smoother ride.
A MaxxAir Deluxe fan is also included for ventilation, and optional Espar diesel heaters are available to keep things cozy on frosty nights—ideal for any off-grid camper van setup.
