ABOUT
ADVENTURE WAGON
Modular isn’t just how we build—it’s why.
Life changes day to day, and your van should be able to keep up.
Big Ideas. Small Team. Real Impact.
Adventure Wagon is a small, hands-on team of innovators based in Portland, Oregon. For over a decade, we’ve been creating smarter ways to transform cargo vans into adventure rigs — from DIY conversion kits and modular interior systems to factory-installed builds and RVIA-certified Class B RVs.
We design, build, pack, and install every system with the same care we’d put into our own rigs. Backed by real people who know and use our products, Adventure Wagon helps builders create flexible, capable vans built for wherever the road leads.
Custom Van Conversions. Built Your Way.
Adventure Wagon offers one of the industry's broadest ranges of van conversion solutions, helping you get on the road faster with options that fit your budget, timeline, and travel goals. From fully built, RVIA-certified Class B RVs and professionally installed factory conversions to modular DIY van conversion kits, we provide flexible paths for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit owners.
Adventure Wagon delivers premium craftsmanship with most factory installation packages completed in as little as 2–4 weeks—one of the fastest paths to a professionally converted van.
One Van. Endless Configurations.
At the heart of every Adventure Wagon build is a modular camper van system built around our robust steel A-Frame and aircraft-grade aluminum L-Track. Our flexible foundation allows you to install, move, or remove beds, storage, and gear organization components without being locked into a permanent floorplan.
Designed for weekend campers, full-time travelers, families, and retirees alike, Adventure Wagon interiors adapt as your needs change. Our modular van conversion system is also compatible with a wide range of third-party products from brands like Lost Hiway, Van Wife Components, Flatline Van Co., and many others, giving you the freedom to build and customize the camper van that fits your lifestyle today—and tomorrow.
QUALITY + DURABILITY.
Adventure Wagon pioneered the original modular van interior system and continues to set the standard for clean, factory-quality van conversions. While many have tried to replicate our approach, we've spent more than a decade refining every detail to deliver the fit, finish, and durability that define our brand.
Our system combines precision-engineered thermo-molded plastics, premium fabrics, and rugged materials built to withstand years of real-world use. Every panel and component is designed to integrate seamlessly with factory dimensions, creating a cohesive, OEM-inspired interior that looks as good on day 1,000 as it does on day one.
From factory-installed RVIA-certified Class B RVs and DIY builds, Adventure Wagon delivers the polished appearance van owners want without sacrificing the durability adventure demands—all backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
CUSTOMER SERVICE + SUPPORT.
Your van conversion is just the beginning. Whether you choose a DIY kit, a factory-installed conversion, or a fully built Class B RV, Adventure Wagon is here to support you for the long haul. Our team provides ongoing assistance, a comprehensive library of step-by-step YouTube installation videos, detailed resources, and direct access to real people when questions come up.
That support doesn't end after installation. Years down the road, we're still here to help you troubleshoot, add upgrades, reconfigure your layout, or adapt your van to new adventures. Because a modular van conversion should evolve with your lifestyle—not limit it.
Our story starts the way a lot of good ones do: with a road trip.
Our founder, Chad, was left $2,000 by his grandfather—with one simple request: use it to travel.
So he bought a VW van and hit the road, determined to see every corner of America. That trip sparked a bigger idea: what if a van could be more than transportation—what if it could be a trusted companion—adaptable, reliable, and ready for whatever the road ahead brings?
Back then, Chad strapped bags inside and out to stash gear after long days on the road. That simple solution inspired our soft-sided Mule Bags, one of the first products born from the journey.
Years later, those ideas became Adventure Wagon—a modular interior system built for DIYers, weekend wanderers, families, and full-time travelers.
From our Portland, Oregon HQ, we design every product with the same spirit that started it all: gear that’s flexible, reliable, and made for what matters most—time outside, time together, time well spent.
