One of our first nights in our van was at a campground overlooking the Shenandoah River. It was 20 degrees outside at night, but thanks to the insulation behind the Adventure Wagon walls and an Espar heater under the front seat, we were toasty warm all night long.
After watching the stars as it got colder and colder, we moved into Voyager, turned on heat and lights, opened a bottle of wine, and watched episodes of The Crown on Netflix from the queen-sized mattress on our MOAB bed.
It was incredible to wake up and be warm while camping in the middle of winter. And the hot shower in the morning before we packed up didn't involve using a campground shower!
