How to Install for a Sprinter 170 the Adventure Wagon Base Conversion Kit
How to Install for a Sprinter 170 the Adventure Wagon Base Conversion Kit
This guide is for installing the entire Adventure Wagon Interior kit in a 2007-present 170 Sprinter Van. There are a few differences with electrical installation between the NCV3 (2018-) and VS30 (2019+) sprinters for electrical wiring and it will be noted below. Also the guide is targeted for Crew and Cargo version vans. If you have a Passenger van there will be some customization required in the ceiling for Air Conditioning units as well as leaving the rear wall panels off where windows are present. Please call one of our installers or our tech support team for more information on passenger installs.
Any additional written build notes below will be the most up-to-date instructions and the video should be used as a baseline.
Installation can be done over four days. It helps to have two people for A-frame bracing, track and panel installation.

Step 7: Electrical Wiring Driver Seat Base
The instructions to complete the electrical wiring under the driver seat base will vary based on what year van you have and whether or not you have the factory auxiliary battery. The Adventure Wagon harness and cabin connections are all the same, what changes is how to connect to your chosen battery under the driver seat.
The Adventure Wagon electrical kit also allows you to connect to solar panels and cabin batteries such as the Goal Zero Yeti, Inergy Apex and Battleborn lithiums. Please call our customer support team for more product information and wiring diagrams.
